i see yes. but could switch for the £5/m cashback for 6 months.
not sure if that would necessitate having 2 DDs set up.

There's no requirement to switch or have any DDs to enjoy the £5/m cashback.

i applied via TCB last night. didn't even see an option to transfer, but perhaps that will appear once it is open. have done 19 transactions this month on my 1st S&S.. may squeeze 20 in this month with the 2nd account. will depend when the card arrives.

Yep, hopefully we applied early enough this month to get the 20 transactions done.

I think there was a switching question within the application process, but that's not the only way to switch. It can also be initiated separately at any time.

"To make saving as you spend even easier we are giving you £5 cashback every month simply for making 30 or more transactions."
so from 20 to 50 this month and next

I don't think so. That's from the welcome e-mail, isn't it?
The monthly £5 cashback previously required 30 transactions. They reduced the requirement to 20 transactions at least 6 months ago and I presume just forgot to update the e-mail template.
I checked the published conditions on the website did still say 20 transactions when I opened my latest account. My debit card for the new account has arrived today, so I can get started now!

ah yes mine arrived on friday too Sarah, and the PIN today, so i'm away with the mixer..
if it is 20 rather than 30 then that is easier. and yes, saw that in the email.
