Shapps in his fifth ministerial role..... brought in to weaponize defence like he did with ULEZ.

What a circus - replaced by a 2019-entrant right-of-centre Sunak loyalist..... because energy is unimportant, right?

what on earth makes you think energy is of any importance? (can you hear me laugh as I write?)

Nothing much to add here...... just add this to the other mis-spends

Are we surprised about the above? We should be shocked and outraged but this sort of thing happens far too often so we just shrug and accept it

The capability of the British voter to be distracted by a bit of "red meat" is amazing..... like being wound up about migration when over 60% of migrants arrive with visas - and most the rest end up being granted leave to remain once those charged with checking their applications actually reach a decision.

The billions spent on Covid hide the sums fraudulently received and knee-jerk reactions like the Nightingales..... but then, Johnson was aways good at wasting people's money, the bendy buses, the abandoned bridge and the illegal water cannon spring to mind during his time as London mayor.

Those in power now are desperately trying to cling on, because once they're gone a new government might decide to prosecute conmen and fraudsters.

These tories have multiple scandals before breakfast on most days. If we attempted to track them all in this forum it would be a full time job!

I read on MSN the headline "now even hospitals are hit with WRAC. I have been hearing on Look East how the hospital in Kings Lynn is being held up by props. A member of staff was filmed in bed with props around it and they were nervous. And apparently West Suffolk hospital is also using props. Lynn was desperately worried they would not get a new hospital under a scheme that was going to be launched.

Here in town a car park had the lowest level propped up some years ago and a few years ago was deemed too unsafe to be use. WRAC of course
