Transaction #920,000 winner!

As announced here, we are celebrating the countdown to the one millionth imutual transaction with a competition. Starting at transaction number 910,000, every ten thousandth transaction earns a prize - double the cashback for that particular transaction AND up to double your entire lifetime shareholding!

At 3.06pm yesterday, transaction number 920,000 was generated by...........

This was for a 2p transaction at Random Website Machine - which we are now generously doubling to 4p

However, the lucky winner will also get their total shareholding increased by (at least) 20% - based on the number of pending and awarded shares they hold on the date that transaction #1m is generated

Congrats and nice that is was a regular who helps to earn the bread for imutual. The dailies buy the bread and the bigger purchases pay for the jam and butter.

It would be fun to have a "near misses" list, maybe the 10 transactions either side of the winner. No prizes - just an honourable mention on the winner thread so we can poke fun at the people who missed out.

Hmm, if the winning transaction and amount is going to be announced on the winner thread, I think I'll hold off doing my big shop at PilesBeGone.co.uk until after the competition.

gazzac pretty much had it covered, poor Mel must be gutted, he played a blinder in the closing minutes of the game but just couldn't hit the target when it mattered. Brave effort from maggie123, she came from nowhere and if she could have just played the shot a couple of seconds earlier, she'd have scored for certain. But as we all know, there's no runners up in this game.
