Are Coupons Slowing Your Computer?

Post by badtothebone » Sun Feb 03 2013 8:14pm

.... I'm no computer geek by any stretch of the imagination but a couple of things that maybe of use.

As you know sometimes with the coupons in online magazines it requires using the zoom feature, to enable viewing of expiry dates and terms ect. If you find your browsing seems slower after doing this, go back to your zoom settings and just reset them.
Firefox: View > Zoom > Reset.

Also I've found when doing dailies, if you click the search thread (turns blue) this seems to force the links to jump along quicker.

.... any tips from a more sensible source are always welcome.

A lot of antivirus programs don't pick up on adware or spyware which tend to slow down a pc. Try downloading something like Spybot -Search & Destroy which should get rid of these
