Maybe a lot of people hated her , but she's dead now . Give her family some respect

A lot of people are anti royalty , would R1 play something distasteful for them when the queen dies ?

I'm broadly against censorship
If the song contain swaering or such like then they'd be right not to play it
But it was written years before Maggie was PM and isn't really about her, well it is now
Have her family ask BBC not to play it :?:
On the other side of the coin if Elton John rerealesed 'Goodbye England's Rose' as a MT tribute, would the BBC refuse to play that?
I doubt it
